I have always loved the work of Gustav Klimt; this adaptation of "The Portrait of Adele Bloc Bauer" was an obvious choice for a challenge based on an already existing artist's work.
The four Degrees of Separation refers to the transition from original textile to paint, to textile, and then to paint once more. (One Half of the work is textile, the other paint).
