Clearly I had no "inner" notion of just how small, and limited, The dimension of 8" by 10" really is. I feel cramped. But I guess that is what a "challenge" is all about. We'll see how this turns out.

A Day to Dye For
Art is clearly about the process as much as the finished product. Here are some samples of today's dying experiments .... a graded run of "chartreuse" and a run of "purple. I have to make a small piece using complementary colours, and I LOVE the way these turned out. I'm not very sure what I'll do with them yet, but so far so good.
And so it begins.
If, as I am given to understand, posting a blog is simply a more modern take on bathroom wall graffiti, I must confess to being no further ahead, in that I have never written anything on a bathroom wall in my entire unadventurous life. I will therefore state that I am in the process of setting up a website/blog in order to provide a venue for the display of my artwork and ideas. Hopefully this will proceed without too many hitches, and the work will be on view very soon.
